The act of moving outside has both an energizing and calming effect. Stop to smell the roses, take in a beautiful sunset, whatever gets you outside take advantage of the moment to resent your mind and body.
June brings with it the warm weather and is appropriately “Get Outdoors” month. Here at DealCaptains & DCX Wellness, we encourage our employees to get outside once a week, with the key distinction of taking off those shoes to feel the earth beneath your feet. Warmer weather coupled with many of us emerging from quarantine, spending time outdoors is a great way to reset yourself mentally and physically. Even if you are simply taking a walk through a neighborhood park, running along a beach boardwalk, or biking on a mountain trail, the act of moving and outside having both an energizing and calming effect.
Whether you are working from your home office or on the road, carve out time to move outside and it will help to stay energized and focused.
